As the Beatles famously said, "I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob." Take it away, boys. I'm glad that's off our chests. Now for your email - pumpkin@acmeinc.com-Beatles fan who likes sharing free music with others! ;) Have you ever wanted to know more about the Beatles but felt like you don't know where to start? The Beatles are an astonishing band with a long history and many albums. But with so many albums, which ones do you need to know about? These are the most essential albums & songs by the Beatles. As an amateur musicologist, I have gone through all of their albums to find which are best for beginners. This list is based on the following criteria: A must-have album for any Beatles fan, whether they are a die-hard or casual listener of the band. That album should have some highlights that every fan would want to listen to first thing in the morning on their way to work/school. Lastly, it should be more significant than any other album, even if it's not as widely known as some of their other works. 1.Please Please Me (1963). This is a great album for anyone, especially any new fans who want to listen to the Beatles for the first time. It's very energetic and fun-filled in a Beach Boys sort of way. It is a must in anybody's collection. Even if you're not in love with the Beatles yet, you're going to fall in love with their music when you hear this album. I don't think many people will disagree when they say that this is their best album from when they were still young, fresh, and full of energy. You'll hear a little bit of everything from this album, from the cute and light "Love Me Do" to the rocking "Money". If you're just starting out as a Beatle fan, this is where you should start. 1.Love Me Do 2.P.S. I Love You 3.Ask Me Why 4.Please Please Me 5.I Saw Her Standing There 6.There's A Place 7. Misery 8.Anna (Go To Him) 9.Chains 10.Boys 11.Baby It's You 12.Do You Want To Know A Secret (bonus track) 1.I Feel Fine (1964) This album is a bit more fun and bouncy than the last one, but it's still a lot of the same, except with a little more energy to it, and a little rock n' roll influence here and there in some of their songs. cfa1e77820
